• What We Built This custom pool is the definition of backyard resort living. Every detail was chosen with Houston's outdoor lifestyle in mind — long, hot summers and families who want to be outside as much as possible. Here's what makes this build stand out: Rectangular Pool with Wading ShelfClean geometry, maximum swim space, and a wide wading shelf perfect for little ones and lounging with a cold drink. The built-in bubblers on the shelf add that extra touch of luxury you'd expect at a five-star resort. Attached SpaStep right from the pool deck into warm, bubbling water. The attached spa is tucked neatly into the design — it feels like it was always meant to be there, because it was. Travertine Coping & DeckingWe chose a classic silver travertine for the coping and pool deck. It stays cool underfoot even on the hottest Houston afternoons, and the natural stone gives the whole space a timeless, upscale feel that'll look just as good twenty years from now. Dark Plaster FinishThe deep charcoal interior plaster creates that gorgeous blue-to-teal water color you see in these photos. It's the little details like this that transform a nice pool into a jaw-dropping one. Full Surrounding Landscape IntegrationThe pool deck was designed to work with the existing yard — manicured green lawn frames the travertine on all sides, creating a resort-style contrast that photographs beautifully and feels even better in person.
